Parque das Virtudes
Located in the historic center of Porto, it is located in the space once occupied by Companhia Hortícola Portuense, designed by landscape gardener José Marques Loureiro (1830-1898).
The perfect place to end the day with a fabulous sunset over the Douro River, with a wide variety of tree species, including some exotic plants.

Quinta do Covelo
In the 18th century, the Quinta do Covelo, belonged to a nobleman named Pais de Andrade, whose descendants sold it to Manuel José do Covelo, a merchant.
A green space, with about 8 hectares, very cozy with magnificent views, a beautiful staircase and a lake with swans and playgrounds.

Jardim Botânico do Porto
In 1895, João Henrique Andresen acquired Quinta do Campo Alegre, a port wine merchant who restored the gardens, imposing the dominant romantic style at the time. Two members of this illustrious family of the Porto bourgeoisie became famous writers: Sophia de Mello Breyner and Ruben A. The latter lived in Quinta do Campo Alegre, and his memories are an important historical record of the time.
With several exotic plants, the Botanical Garden of Porto is not only a breath of fresh air, but also one of the most beautiful in the city, it is a space where nature, knowledge and literature emerge.

Jardim da Cordoaria
It is one of the oldest and most important green spaces in Porto. Better known as Jardim da Cordoaria (due to the activity of the cordoeiros that were installed here. Designed in 1865, it began to be frequented by the city's bourgeoisie and university students.

Jardim do Campo 24 de Agosto
Jardim do Campo 24 de Agosto was born in the early years of the Republic, between 1912 and 1914, in a place where there was an ark of water from Mijavelhas that fed the city's fountains.
Small garden with a small lake. It is usually used as a transit point.

Jardim do Infante D. Henrique
This square, in the Historic Center of Porto, honors Infante D. Henrique - the most important figure in the early Portuguese discoveries.

Jardim Marques de Oliveira
This famous Invicta garden is named after the Porto painter João Marques de Oliveira, who was born in 1853 and died in 1927. This garden was named in honor of the artist by the Porto City Council.
Typical romantic garden, full of fountains and statues, leafy trees and flowerbeds, as well as a small bandstand.

Quinta De Villar d'Allen
The Quinta was bought in 1839 by João Allen, consul of England in Porto and art collector. After his death, the property was inherited by his son Alfredo Allen, who was a winemaker, farmer and gardener. He was one of the promoters of the Sociedade do Palácio de Cristal Portuense and responsible for the introduction of a series of exotic plants in Portugal.
They have several interesting elements such as the lake, the forest area, the greenhouse, the Jardim dos Cisnes, several examples of camellias and a formal garden. There are a lot of camellias, 180 different varieties in the garden.

Jardim Paulo Vallada
The garden was opened in 2006 in memory of the Porto politician, writer and businessman António Guilherme Paulo Vallada (1924-2006).
Extensive green space used as a place of passage, rest, recreation and as a sports venue.

Jardim Doutor Francisco Sá Carneiro
This garden was built in 1948. Initially it was designated as Jardim da Praça Velasquez (Spanish painter, 1599-1660),
Its current name - Praça do Dr. Francisco Sá Carneiro - honors the former Portuguese Prime Minister, born in Porto in July 1934 and died on December 4, 1980, in a plane crash near Lisbon.
With ample space for walking, running or cycling, it also has shaded areas and benches that invite you to relax.

Jardim de Teófilo Braga
The square's terreiro was used for military exercises by the Santo Ovídio barracks, built in 1790 by Queen Maria I. In 1915-1916 the space was converted into a public garden.

Jardim do Moreda
it is possible to observe the Monument to the Sales Professional Traveller. It is practically a place of passage on Rua Santos Pousada, an artery whose name evokes an illustrious Freemason and republican who was also notable as a journalist and defender of mutualism.

Jardim do Calém
In Jardim do Calém, there are tall black poplars and plane trees, basketball hoops, a monument that recalls the Ceuta expedition of 1415 and, on the way to Passeio Alegre and Foz do Douro, a beautiful sculpture representing the angel S. Miguel.
